We are excited to share that Chef Lashon Burrell, founder and executive chef of Cajun Cafe Chicago, was featured on Daytime Chicago! With Mardi Gras just around the corner, she highlighted some of our classic dishes, including the Cajun Cafe Chicago Signature Bayou Chicken, Southern Beignets, Buttermilk Cornbread, and the star of the show, our Shrimp Etouffee. Our Founder Chef Lashon Burrell was thrilled to be featured on WGN’s Spotlight Chicago to showcase Cajun Cafe Chicago. At Cajun Café Chicago, our mission is to connect people through food and culture while building generational wealth for our Westside and Southside communities. What better way to show off our southern flare than with National Catfish Month. Chef Lashon had the opportunity to cook a few of her favorite dishes which was Cajun Cafe Chicago Signature BAYOU chicken sliders, Peach Cobbler French Toast, Southern Greens, Cajun Red Beans and Rice and of Course it wouldn't be right without showcasing the Classic Catfish Po Boy. Community Outreach

Cajun Cafe Chicago is dedicated to giving back to the Chicago community. We have participated in numerous volunteer opportunities, from helping with boxed food drives to organizing holiday meal experiences. We have also donated meals to those in need and hosted fundraisers to provide financial support to local charities.

We believe that everyone should have access to good food, and that everyone deserves to feel valued and appreciated. We are proud to be part of a community that is so caring and supportive.
